I almost forgot...

how darn heavy the triple stroller, with all three boys in it is.  I calculated that between the stroller itself and all three boys it is over 115 lbs.  Definitely a great strength training workout too.

The weather was awesome.  It was in the 50s when we left the house.  I didn't even have to put the "bubble"  (weather cover) on the stroller for the boys.  I was wearing a running skirt and a short sleeved shirt.  It was just like a wonderful spring morning!

My plan was simple, just 3 miles, at whatever pace I could handle.  For one, I have missed a lot of miles over the last two weeks, so I am working on getting in some more.  Secondly, I was going to be pushing the triple stroller, and it has been months since I have been able to do that.  Lastly, we all just needed to get out of the house and back into our normal routine, where mommy runs and we got to the park after.

It felt great just to run for the sake of running.  The boys had a great time in the stroller, I think they have missed it a little.  They were singing songs as loud as they could and eating all the bread we brought to feed the ducks.  Thing 3 enjoyed getting to sit all the way up in the stroller.

Since the sun was out, I picked a route that would keep the boys from facing the sun most of the run.  However, I forgot that that route has lots of little steep hills.  Doh!  That is when I took the time to calculate how much weight I was trying to push up those hills.  Ultimately, it was better than listening to the boys complain about the sun being in their eyes and then proceeding to fight over where the sun shade should go.  But I still enjoyed every minute of it.  The rest of the week will be more of the same and I can't wait.

Yay for warmer weather!
